At university I studied biological psychology while also taking a variety of math courses. As I studied more math and science I started to see glimpses of science in the world around me. This inspired my Art + Science series. I take a natural scene and superimpose it with a scientific/mathematical concept and then extrapolate a lesson to be learned from this concept. Each picture has a description explaining the science behind the photo and the take home message. I've found this series to be an invaluable way for me to learn from the world around me. I now view the natural world differently and I have started to take notes from science in order to learn how to be comfortable with who I am.
